The Lawyers for Poland Association has prepared a report on the most significant abuses committed by the current ruling camp in connection with the recent presidential elections. The analysis covers, among other things, the following violations:
- failure to pay subsidies due to opposition political parties,
- politicisation of the National Electoral Commission,
- illegal financing of the election campaign from abroad,
- extra-legal verification of election results by the public prosecutor’s office,
- attack on candidate Karol Nawrocki in violation of freedom of speech,
- and an attempt to violate basic requirements of electoral law by passing the ‘episodic law’.
